It's All About Savings

This is an email I wrote to my roommates the other day in response to a roommate informing me that due to the recent low temperatures at night she will be turning on the heater when she goes to bed.

Hey Roommates,

As discussed last night with the ruling majority of the house mates, once Roommate 1 turned on the heater she simultaneously activated the RWP. For those of you who do not know, the RWP is the Roommate Warmth Program. It's through the progressive program that we will be able to not only keep the power bill down through winter of 2009/2010 but also bring each of us closer to one another...emotionally and physically. I look forward to spending the night with each and everyone of you throughout the next 4 months, the schedule is listed below:

This is a round robin approach so that every roommates gets equal time with all other roommates. The forecast for this evening is a cool 44 degrees, I suppose we should say hi to our new bed partners since tonight will be the first evening of RWP. Have a great winter roommates!

So far I've slept alone. Weird.
